Tour de Ghana – Part 5 (Cape Three Points)

The final stop of our Tour of Ghana was down at Cape Three Points. This location is the farthest point south in Ghana. It is also the closest landmass to the center of the earth at 0 degrees longitude and 0 degrees latitude. While here we stayed at a beach resort called Safari Beach Lodge. We took a fishing boat out on a tour of the area (which was a bit anti-climatic). We all definitely like the Ada Foah boat ride much better. We also took a “hike” to the lighthouse and the point. I use captions on “hike” because it was really more of a walk up the main road. The views from the lighthouse were beautiful. We could see the three points of Ghana from it. We made friends with a few girls who were here from the states doing some research and study. Overall this was a great end to our tour of Ghana. We had wonderful experiences and great adventures.

Now back to work…

For the sake of brevity I have put these photos into an album. There are not descriptions but if anyone who reads this would like a description of anything please let me know! Enjoy!
